Apple's Engineering Technology Camp (ETC)

Selected as one of 25 high school students to travel to Cupertino, CA and participate in a month long camp focused on exposing and developing young engineers. Worked on a five-member team alongside Apple engineers to build a prototype Automatic Smart Composting System, developing skills in core engineering disciplines, software and hardware interfaces, and presentation delivery.
Operated as chief mechanical engineer and project manager leading the design and integration of all mechanical components with the overall product; iterated design from concept to working prototype in a two-week sprint. Presented final deliverable to Senior VP of Hardware Engineering, receiving highly positive feedback. Project was featured in an article by The Verge.
